DAS Certification provides two OH&S Management Training Courses as follows:

18001:2007 Introduction to OHS Management Systems
(Internal Auditor Course)

Duration

This highly interactive one-day training programme is designed for those people who require a sound understanding of the techniques and principles of Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems.  It also covers the role of the Internal Auditor and OH&S Manager in the development and improvement of an effective OH&S Management System.

Introduction

Occupational Health & SafetyThe BS OHSAS 18001:2007 Standard is seen as a means to improve the overall health and safety legislative compliance and existing system arrangements.  Focussed management and internal auditing are the key mechanisms for maintaining, but also for developing and improving existing working practices within an organisation.  This course focuses delegates on the most important attributes of the BS 18001:2007 OH&S Management Systems and helps them to understand the role of the manager and auditor in development and improvement of this system.

Who Should Attend?

This course is essential for those who will undertake internal health and safety audits, or who will be required to plan, manage and implement an OH&S programme. The course does not require any past auditing or health and safety management experience.

Course Objectives

To enable delegates to effectively plan, perform, evaluate and report on the success of a health and safety programme and to help delegates understand the key attributes of a good Health and Safety Management System.

18001:2007 OHSAS Lead Auditor Course

This three-day highly interactive OH&S Lead Auditor Course is ideal for those seeking to develop their professional auditing skills in planning, implementing and reporting effective audits in Health and Safety and provides an in-depth understanding of the Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) Management Systems.
